Ok, this needs back history. I got an iphone a couple of months ago. I can hear it already, "Ok, so....we all have those." Oddly, it is my first smart phone. Not sure how smart it is because I keep saying, "You stupid phone."  Maybe it is all user-head-space. Anyways, I have figured out how to take pictures with the phone. And can even send them to my contacts AND post them on Facebook. However, I have no idea how to get them off of my phone and onto the computer. So, I have made a few more bracelets. Taken pictures of  said bracelets. I just can't share those pics on here. I will just have to take photos of the bracelets with my regular camera and then upload them on here. It really sounds like quite the undertaking but it shouldn't take too long. Hopefully.

On a side note, have any of you made a monthly mini journal. You know, where you make a little journal for each month. I love the idea but the dilemma is - where do you put all of those minis when you are done with them? Need help with that. Anyone?

OMGoodness, it has been WAY too long since I have been on here. Big changes in the our household. Kids moving out. One getting married. One is overseas. Another in high school. But through it all, I have been crafting. Not as much as I would like but getting projects done. In the picture shown, these are anklets that I made up for my SIL. The pic isn't that great and I couldn't get a close up due to glare and all but they are all pink and pearls and clear crystals. She likes pink. And I wanted to share my love of crystals and pearls. I also love charms. So, the middle one has little dangles on it. I thought it was kinda cool idea for an anklet. Anyways, a few necklaces have been made and a couple of pairs of earrings. But, of course, crocheting is always near by. And I am working on some mini books. I can construct one, no problem. There is a slight issue with embellishing them. haha  I need to just give the goodies to God and He will make it beautiful. What have you been working on? With the holidays soon upon us, are you getting your creative mojo on? Let me know what you are doing.

Create Everyday

I just received my "junk journal" today from my wonderful partner who lives in Dallas, TX. It is the most amazingly beautiful gift that anyone has ever made for me. I feel so blessed right now. And to top it off, Karen (my swap buddy) sent me a bag of goodies. Get this, a roll of Score Tape. Are you kidding me? That isn't cheap. She is so sweet to do this. I will definately have to share this little goody with all of you.
Now, for a quick "catch up". Our oldest son had a wrestling tournament this past weekend in Fairbanks. He did good but was taken out quickly. That was a big bummer. But he had a smile on his face and he had a good time. Such a good guy. My husband and I got to spend the weekend basically without kids. That was the first time since having children - 21 years. Long overdue. We had such a fabulous time. Very relaxing. We went and checked out the ice sculptures. Oh wow!!! If you ever get the chance to do that where ever you live, do it. The fact that people can make things out of a block of ice is amazing. Will be posting those pictures too.
Don't forget to take pictures for Project Life. Share them with those you love.

Awwwww! Isn't it cute? This baby moose came to visit us. My hunny went out to get these pictures. He put his hand out and the baby came within a few inches of it. So cute! We had three others out on the road just a few minutes before this visit. Along with this cutie was it's twin and momma. So, within twenty minutes we had six moose in the yard. Crazy!! The winter has been hard and we have seen quite a few moose in the yard this year. But I must say that it has been a welcome sight. Kinda missed them. What kind of visitors do you get? Be sure to take a picture and share it. Don't forget to put that in your Project Life book.

Happy New Year!!!

Can it even be possible!? Not sure. lol We started our year in the negatives. Degrees, that is. Oh holy icicles, Batman. Our highs for this past week were minus 10. So yucky. We are warmer today and it is snowing. We are expecting a couple of more inches. So, have you made your New Years Resolutions? Have you started them yet? lol I make "aspirations". I don't want to change myself just improve on a bit. Actually, a friend, Carole made a mini scrapbook a few years back of "10 in 2010" These would be your 10 resolutions for that year. But as you know it is 2012 now and so I made up 12 of them. Real original, huh? haha Anyways, one of them is to PLAY. I have been so busy being a mom to five that I forgot how to play and have fun. So, here we go. Also, have you heard of Project Life? If not, you should look it up. Becky Higgins created this program for documenting the little things in life that capture your heart so that you are able to share them with others. Such a simple idea that makes a huge impact. I am going to try it this year. Her products you can purchase on Amazon. They all qualify for free shipping. Totally into the free shipping thing. Look it up. Her blog is awesome and she's on Facebook. I have been creating some cool stuff. I don't have pictures of them yet but I will get some on here soon. Let me know what your "aspirations" are for the year. We can encourage each other.
